A PM wouldn't be too bad either.

BTW, I have "The Shape Of Jazz To Come".
Still need this.

you got Wes Montgomery?
If not I can hook you up, even though he's more bluesy.

I have like two songs.

Hook me up if you have the time please.

Still need some big band, and stuff involving vocals.

Best Sun Ra album to start with?

Can't go wrong with Miles Davis. I think my favorite jazz album though is "Swiss Movement" by Les McCann and Eddie Harris. The first track is probably the best political jazz song I've ever heard.

Mayan Temples is a good place to start, IMO.

Also, I'm looking for some post-hardcore/"alternative" in vein of Rival Schools, Yourcodenameis:milo, Million Dead, etc.

people here seem to know more about music than i thought possible. i have been listening to post-rock/jam stuff like Sound Tribe Sector 9, Perpetual Groove, EITS, 65daysofstatic, Umphrey's McGee and Medeski Martin and Wood. Any thoughts on new artists i might not know about?

Have you heard Alexisonfire? I've only heard Million Dead out of your list, but if you like them you might like Alexisonfire. Try their first album if you want more raw, hardcore-ish stuff, but if you want some pretty vocals, go for Crisis.

If you have heard them, I've got nothing.

I'm sure you've heard Refused.

I'm looking for some new music to get my ears on (new as in new to me).

My top 10 most listened from the past few years: Jack Johnson, Atmosphere, Kanye West, The Black Keys, John Legend, Common, Lupe Fiasco, The Beatles, GZA (liquid swords), and Danger Doom.

I like pretty much everything. Would love to hear any and all recommendations.
