His solo stuff is pretty cool, don't let he poppiness scare you away.
If you want more abrasive music, check out Arto Lindsay Trio - Aggregates 1-26.
And of course there's Arto Lindsay & Paal Nilssen-Love - Scarcity.

Thankie. Which solo album in particular? I really don't like his singing on his solo music so far.
