I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

I'm in love with the song "Melody Day" by Caribou; the Four Tet cover. I would post the URL but I'm a n00b so I need 15 posts before I can start laying down URLs.

Any thoughts on similar songs or music in general? I love the ethereal guitar-picking introduction...the kind of vibes that make you feel like you're standing in a pine forest on the side of a mountain on a chilly fall day. Those kinds of songs are what I'm interested in. Thanks!

..and Mount Eerie's "In the Rain" but sadly it's not on youtube. Maybe check out Calexico, Jackson C. Frank and VAST as well?

..Also, is there not a designated old-timey thread? (For 1920s-40s music) Maybe I'm not looking hard enough. My heart needs an old-timey thread.

There is one person on this entire forum who will appreciate this post. I'm quoting it so that he won't miss it when this person is banned.
