Default Albums similar to...

Albums with tracks similar to Strobe by Deadmau5

When I say Strobe, I mean specifically the first half of the song (the build) and not the house stuff towards the end. I am looking for albums that are somewhat electronic and have a dreamy feeling. I want to stay away from too much pop and too much drone/ambient. I'd like to find something in the middle. Maybe like an electronic post-rock band?

Thanks

Good prog-rock/metal and symphonic rock bands (similar to dream theater)?
Artists similar to savant (electro-funk)

Default The best album I've heard in awhile is "Zaba" by The Glass Animals.

Listen to The Glass Animals debut album "Zaba" followed by their EP. It tells a story that will have you thinking. It really speaks to me. I had my roommate listen to it and i really feel like anyone can relate to it in one way or another. It's got a jungle-esque style to it. Something you can ride around or relax to. I'd definately recommend it to anyone!

Default Life "Inspirational" Songs suggestions

Hello,

I'm having a really bad time in my life, beeing a computer creep, never going out and having bat time at school.
I've decided to change after hearing and watching the video from the song "Avicii - The Nights"

Now, if you can give me songs that are similar (In both style AND message) I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

Default Sensory Station - Ambient Grunge

There's a new (sorta) band from San Diego/Los Angeles that is starting to come up. They are like a modern ambient grunge band... That's about the best I can describe it.

Or just listen to one of his good albums like Apostrophe or Hot Rats.

Someone recommend me some ****ing awful music so that I can posture as a cool guy who likes it because he sees something in it that nobody else does.
