Yeah, we're noobs!
PARASIGHT Just thought that we'd say hi and introduce ourselves. We're a young rock band, just starting out, but have had a gig mad summer. Most memorably, we were lucky enough to be chosen to play at Y-NOT festival. Did any of you see us there? Please check us out. Rock/Symphony combonation?
Ive heard songs like Break/Bach, and It's Time from the soundtrack of "August Rush" and i like the songs. I enjoy the songs so much as to wonder, is this a there a name for this type of music? Is there more music like this?
Please listen to the music before suggesting songs, so that you know what im talking about. And thank you for the help. |

This is to those new to the very early Purple history - Don't expect any "Smoke on the Water" style riffing here. In a way, this attempt to join the Symphonic Rock league was like a bridge, bidding farewell to their Psychedelic era (one can say their third album's "April" was the spark that led to this) and moving forward to what they became with the Mark 2 Line Up. This features the growth of Jon Lord as a composer. The album that this performance was from featured an iconic cover that was paid tribute to on Opeth's In Live Concert at the Royal Albert Hall ("The Loyal Disharmonic Orchestra Conducted by the Powers That Be") |
