In reply to the previous poster, the song you mentioned reminds me of "Battleship Grey" by DJ Tiesto. Check it out.

I'm really addicted to Incubus' "Aequeous Transmission" lately, largely because of its length and Asian instrumentals. Does anyone know of any similar tracks, preferably with vocals?

In my search for music I've really only found two albums that really mesh with my soul in ways other albums just couldn't even begin to; those being In the Aeroplane Over the Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel and First Utterance by Comus. As I have come to find out both seem to be anomalies. I'm not particularly hopeful that I will be able to find music as amazing as these two albums, but I will be very grateful for any recommendations that any of you could give.

Thank You for your time.

Default Help find songs about...

Hey All! What are some songs, especially country songs, in which the story is that a man leaves his woman so that she can be happy..or would be happy?

Thanks

I just got "it's a Wonderful Life"by sparklehorse and am really into the sound but not so much the lyrical content. Not crazy about his voice either, don't really like the whisper.

Anyone know of any bands with the same flavor? kind of psychedelic and dreamy in the same way he is? doesn't necessarily have to be as depressing as the stuff o this album but it's also alright if it is.

The one song I did really get into was Piano Fire though.

At parts of It's a Wonderful Life I'm reminded of Hood, The Notwist, Eels, and Grandaddy.

I apologize if this wasn't helpful in the slightest.

Wink Need new music recommendations please

I'm looking for new artists/new music - songs that can be sung, upbeat and happy music - not religious. Music that I can hum and sing along to as a background for a happy life.

Know any you love?
Please tell me about them

Oh, and if they are not readily available through places like iTunes please pass on the links to how to get them.

Thx!
