I don't listen to any screamo, but there is a thread for it! You may find some stuff you like in here.

The first Book of Knots album might be a good place to start:

I'm in an album group on another forum and I need to recommend a concept album in a few weeks, but the only problem is that I barely know any concept albums aside from Pink Floyd's material. Therefor, I need a couple of suggestiosn for concept albums that are worth a listen. Don't recommend something that's very well-known please, it must be new to all of the people in that group. As for the genre: Just do something in the rock scene, I like almost any kind of rock aside from poprock and most heavy/death/screamo metal.

It's a bit of a stretch but this could be considered a concept album. It's about a guy and a girl who are in love. They have their ups and downs but in they end she just wants his money to buy zebras.

Plus you will seem really cool for thinking outside of the box.

My personal favorite is Tommy by The Who, but that's pretty common.

Indeed, I've heard Tommy quite a bit. I've heard of this album right here as well but never checked it out. The title is appealing, at least. =P

Took a gander the 69 Love Songs album and I fear it's not what I'm looking for. If anyone could recommend me a concept album that is fairly challenging (not too challenging though), is anything in the rock genre (not including metal) and isn't as damn long as 69 Love Songs?
