Wandering if anybody could help me.
Im stuck in a rut and need help asap. Im leaving on holiday on the 18-12-2011 and my holiday tradition is to get 2 or 3 albums and listen to then non stop on my holiday. Then when i listen to these albums again while slaving away at work i get the same feeling that i had when i was on holiday. This is an epic way of using music to your advantage. The problem is that i am very picky with my music and havent found anythimg new that insires me for quite a while. I played guitar for 6 years but havent touched it in the last 2. I seem to get addicted to bands/artists and listen to every album untill i move on to the next one, which is normally about 3/4 months. My favourite influences in no particular order are (i have everything ever made by these peoples): Pink Floyd Opeth Bonobo Tool Old Kings of Leon (first 3 albums) Porcupine Tree other stuff i enjoy (maybe an album or two): omon armarth some trance here and there nothing like Infected mushroom though cat stevens now and then Rodriguez Bush (the science of things) Monster magnet Queen Dire Straits Gypsy Kings Led zepplin As you can see it is pluttered everywhere, the main thing that i enjoy about any artist is wether they are unique and not commercial as kings of loen became. Hope somebody can help me TIA |
