I'm in a desperate mood for new music, so could anybody recommend me some new artists?

Here's some artists that I already listen to:
The Mars Volta
Porcupine Tree
Devin Townsend (already listened to Strapping Young Lad)
My Morning Jacket
The Decemberists

If you like melancholy music try "Chet Baker Sings", I also like "Chet Baker In Paris".

Default Please Recommend Promotion Methods for my Band.

Hi, I'm looking for ways to promote my band. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Does anyone know of a way to do it through technology. I found one called igobubble [link removed by mod].

It looked legit, so I posted and have my fingers crossed, but can anyone recommend anymore?

Cheers.
