I'm trying to find an album kind of like Dinosaur Jr's You're Living all over me or Meat Puppets II. I know both very different albums but I really just want something cohesive that I can really listen the whole way through over and ovr like I have been with these two recently.

I guess i'm mostly jus tlooking for some aclaimed album I have pushed to the side .

I don't know if you've already heard it, but just in case you haven't:
Sebadoh - III (1991) Lou Barlow's band

Pavement's Wowee Zowee or Guided By Voices' Alien Lanes, then?

Also, Afghan Whigs. Not sure what album to recommend. Up In It is closer to Dinosaur Jr sound being all fuzzy and rough around the edges, but their later albums are more acclaimed. So I guess you can look into them and see what appeals to you.

and if you like then you could try this:

which is a little more poppy but still great.

Oh the Pastels...I haven't heard them in ages.
Well, Truckload of Trouble, a compilation, was my introduction to them. But if you want an album, you could start with Sittin' Pretty. Mobile Safari is another excellent album, from 90-something, not covered by this comp. I mentioned, if I remember right.

EDIT: never mind, jackhammer already covered it
