You heard Kayo Dot? Check out their album Coyote. A lot of psychedelic rock is really experimental. Acid Mothers Temple and the Melting Paraiso UFO are pretty good..their album "Does the Cosmic Shepherd Dream of Electric Tapirs" is really out there. This is just stuff I've been listening to recently.

If you need something a little more grounded go with Kilimanjaro Darkjass Ensemble. Sure they like to call themselves "Darkjazz" (and there is clear jazz influence), but it's still pretty original acid jazz. Check out their self titled.

So i have this really good friend of mine who i have know for a couple years. I have grown to really like (love, i don't like to use it loosely who knows) her during that time. She had always had a boyfriend until about 5 months back. I had recently asked her out and got turned down because she said she is not ready for a relationship and doesn't want to hurt our friendship. Although the other day we did make out at a bar and she says she is confused about what happened (She initiated it multiple times). But i am just trying to find a song that would fit this situation close.

I am in the process of torrenting the Acids and UFOs already, their entire discog, in fact.

I'll check out Kayo Dot and KDE.

Anybody recommend some Dr Feelgood? I have heard a couple of tracks and fancy giving them a thorough listen.

Also some big ass funky Breaks and Beats with the emphasis of big basslines a la Stanton Warriors as opposed to cut and paste style artists. I have exhausted my collection 10 times over.

You should go for Down By the Jetty. I reckon it's probably their best, although I don't really listen to Dr Feelgood an awful lot anymore.

Plus it has this song on it;

Should be easy enough to find, but if you need a hand just give us a shout eh.

I think I might have seen that very doc myself. I can't remember a lot about it though.

Anyway, I'm gonna be kicking about here more often than usual for the next few days, so I'll fetch you a linky tomorrow.
