Looking for some punk rock with a heavy country influence. And it has to be more punk than country. Sorta along the lines of The Vandals' early work.

have you heard Hank III....honestly it sounds nothing like the Vandals but very country and very punk

Try some King Kurt and the genre psychobilly. I can't help you much here at all because it's not really my thing.

Have you heard O'Death? You may like them.

Looking for something like Queens of the Stone Age and Them Crooked Vultures. Basically, good, energetic riff oriented rock music with good vocals.

Could anyone recommend any essential compilations that document a particular scene or movement, like what C86 was to indie-pop, Deep Six was to the Seattle sound or what No New York was to no-wave. Anything would be appreciated.

Songs to rage to?

Hey, kinda new here - going through some bad times atm and was looking for some recommendations for songs to rage/cry to. Usually listen to 80's hard rock (Skid Row, Twisted Sister, stuff like that) or some of the modern "punk" bands (Green Day...I guess would fit there?) as well as some Iron Maiden, Metallica and stuff. (generally stuff heavy on guitar/drums)

If anyone can help out with a recommendation of artists/tracks or w/e I'd really appreciate it.

Cheers.
