Looking for a metal band with emphasis on melody and great singing. A new band better than an old band. An example would be Kamelot of the kind of music I'm thinking of.
Thanks in advance.

Anyone know any good rootsy rock.
Kinda like: John Butler Ryan Bingham & The Dead Horses The Old 97's The White Stripes Not necessarily country based, those are just the only 4 I can think of.

Need help in finding similar music
Hey guys,
I've been listening to 2 orchestral choir rock kind of music. An example would be Preliator from Globus and another would be Pompeii and Antissa from ES Posthumus. Now the question is, does anyone know any music, bands, artists with similar music of these choir orchestral rock chant kind of music? None of my friends do so I thought I'd post on a music forum and see if anyone can point me in the right direction. |

Unusual instruments in popular music
Hi there:
I'm looking for some relatively well-known tunes (whether rock, or pop, or musicals, or soundtracks, etc..) that contain or feature some less-traditional instruments (e.g. bassoon in Tears of a Clown; sitar in Beatles tunes, etc..). Thanks for your help! Martin |
