Dick Dale is the undisputed first place to start for surf music. Check out the album Surfer's Choice.

I've heard that The Ventures and The Tornadoes are also good. So, Dick Dale, Ventures, Tornadoes and I'm pretty much set?

With those guys, yeah, you should be able to sate your thirst for surfer rock for the time being.

If you feel you need a little more, The Revels, The Centurions, The Lively Ones, and The Tidal Waves are a few names. Or for a little change of pace The Wipeouters are Devo doing surf.

Anything like Hum?
I tseems like all the other space rock bands I've listened to don't have many similarities to Hum although Hum is regarded as space rock.
or if anyone know's any technical metal bands like Decapitated that'd be cool too

And if anyone knows any Hardcore Punk similar to the Gorilla Biscuits in regards to the small breakdowns they sometimes include in their songs that would be cool too.

I'm looking for Power Metal, a band that sounds more like 3 Inches of Blood, rather that DragonForce *shudders at the name*

Additionally, I'm beginning to get into jazz music. Instrumental jazz, preferably, with a moderately fast tempo, or faster. like something you would hear in a Broadway show. Where's a good place to start?

Can anyone help?

With regard to Decapitated, Nile and Necrophagist are the first two that come to mind. If you don't already have music from them, it will be worth it to check them out. Especially Nile.

I have to write a review on a song that's in French, any one know any good French music out there?
Something that doesn't have really perverted lyrics or any swear words. This is for a 9th grade school Project.

Much thanks to anyone who helps!
