And yes, Fair To Midland are great, definitely worth checking out. I'd give their album "Fables From A Mayfly: What I Tell You Three Times Is True" a listen. I love that album a lot.

*they started as a death metal band but you seriously wouldn't tell after hearing this. If you like atmospheric rock, or like Porcupine Tree you should check these guys out. Beautiful song.

*if you like Dream Theater you should check out James' solo album 'Elements Of Persuasion'. It's very different to Dream Theaters work and I personally think he sounds better on this album. This is actually his 3rd solo effort, with a previous band called Mullmuzzler. This is my second favourite song off this album, check out 'Slightly Out Of Reach' as well.

^^^ they are just very small samples. You should seriously check out the full albums and look into them. I think you and I have a very similar taste in music judging by your ten bands listed. Welcome to MB by the way. :wave:
