In an effort to broaden my musical horizons I've decided to give hardcore one more try. With that said, does anyone know any good hardcore bands I can ease myself into the genre with?

Wintersun!
They've released only one album(their S/T release), but the guitar work will definitely leave you speechless. Atleast, much better than CoB.
Just check out the scandinavian folk-metal in general. There are some sh*tty bands though...lemme know if you need any recs/uploads.

Kalmah and Catamenia might be worth checking out.

Ok all, I need your help.

For one of my classes I've been assigned to teach the class for at least 30 minutes over modern music from 1945-1969. Obviously that is quite alot of material to cover in not alot of time.. so if you have any ideas/theories/basics you think I should include, please, let me know...(not just a list of artists you think I should add in, I can do that on my own ;))

need some artist suggestions

I am looking for some rap that has predominately orchestral beasts. If anyone could help with some artist/album suggestions, i would appreciate it.

The first thing that came to mind was, song-wise, Deltron 3030 - 3030.
