- just about every song on the Night at the Roxbury soundtrack
- Winter by DT8 Project

Can someone recommend me some good dance mix CDs that contain songs like those?

Thanks in advance!
I donno, I typed in 90's Dance in amazon and came up with a couple pages worth of mix cd's you'd probably dig.

1. Missing [Todd Terry Club Mix] - Everything But the Girl
2. Where Do You Go [Ocean Drive Edit] - No Mercy
3. Another Night - The Real McCoy
4. Be My Lover - La Bouche
5. Beautiful Life - Ace of Base
6. I Like to Move It [Eric "More" Club Mix] - Reel 2 Real
7. Deeper Love [C+C Tribesman Mix] - Aretha Franklin
8. Tell It to My Heart [1996 Remix] - Taylor Dayne
9. C'mon N' Ride It (The Train) [Remix Edit] - Quad City DJ's
10. Boom Boom Boom - The Outhere Brothers
11. Who Do U Love [Morales Classic Club Edit] - Deborah Cox
12. No More "I Love You's" [Junior Vasquez Remix Edit] - Annie Lennox
13. Dreamer [Original Club Mix] - Livin' Joy
14. This Is Your Night - Amber Listen
15. Total Eclipse of the Heart - Nicki French
16. Children - Robert Miles
17. Macarena - Los del Mar

^That one looks like it would fit well, but there's many others.

Looking for some good guitar instrumental music, something like Chet Atkins or Tommy Emmanuel. Any suggestions?

Just brought a whole bunch of new albums based solely on recommendations and listens from MB. I've got the first one playing now. Never ever heard of the band before Dinosaur Jr.? I got 'Where You Been'

I'm really digging what I'm hearing, woah...
Where should I head next?

I also brought The Shins - 'Oh, Inverted World', Amorphis - 'Skyforger' and Propagandhi - 'Supporting Caste'
...haven't listened to these yet but any recommendations on any other bands would be appreciated, so much good music that I've heard from being on MB. Thanks guys.

Glad you enjoyed it. They are brilliant eh!

@ Distant: If you haven't yet experienced The Fall, I would recommend you do. A label doesn't really suit them as their sound is pretty unique but Post-Punk would probably be the closest genre. Check out: Grotesque (After The Gramme) 1980 if you are interested.

Lightbulb I'm looking for a song.

I'm making a Youtube tribute video for my all time fave celeb, Amanda Tapping but I don't have a song. If anyone can help me find a song that's both beautiful and heart warming, and they need words in it. If anyone can help me find such a song, that'd be great.

Oh, and I'd like the song to be by a woman.

Default Need some help choosing songs. Please take a look

First off, Im brand new here so I apologize if I put this in the wrong section. Feel free to move if necessary

Well, I recently got a new Ipod touch, and when I synced it to my computer all of my songs (about 1500) got deleted. Im here to ask you guys to help me choose some good songs (as Im leaving for vacation soon and I need to get my Ipod packed for the trip).

I would really appreciate it if you stuck to suggestions based on the genera's Im about to mention.

Genera's:

- Rock (Metal/ any other good popular bands like bayside or bands in the same genera like that... you know, all time low, daughtry, nickleback ect) - NO SCREEMO
- Rap (Nothing way to ghetto, and no old school stuff. I don't like that)
- Techno/electric/house

that's basically it. This is kinda important and I'd really appreciate the time you guys would put to help me out here. (Oh, and if there are too many songs to mention you can just name the artist)

Thanks again

Why don't you just look in the threads and see what you like?
We also have recommendation threads in a lot of the sub-forums.
