Default Castles, knights, dragons

Hello,

I am getting married next year and even though it's not something that absolutely has to be done, I thought it would be nice for our "first dance" song to be related somehow with our theme: medieval/renaissance/castles/knights, etc. Or, does anyone have any suggestions for either love songs that mention that make you think of London or old England?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks much!!

I quite like Non Point but they are nu-metal I spose.

How about Lamb Of God. I have a couple of their albums and they are pretty tight.

Default New Here, Looking For Some Good Bands

Hi, I'm new to these forums and I'm looking to expand my horizons musically. Mostly I'm looking for hardcore type bands, but I listen to all genres. I'm currently listening to bands like:

Thrice
As I Lay Dying
August Burns Red
Killswitch Engage
Underoath
Protest The Hero
Panic At The Disco
Avenged Sevenfold
Armor For Sleep
From First To Last
A Static Lullaby.

As you can see, it's mostly harder rock type bands, but not all. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

I like Foo Fighters... Everlong would be an amazing wedding "first dance" song.

All right, I need some interesting, eclectic indie. Indie pop, indie rock, indie folk, I don't care.

It's got to have fairly long stretches with no words (just music or beat or something) so we can use it under dialogue. It's gotta be serious, and it's gotta be gritty. I'm thinking something actually about prison or getting busted or something. Something about how much it sucks to be prison. Not "boo yah, bein' a gangsta rules", but more "damn, i miss my kids and my girl" sorta stuff. Gettin' it?

Bluesy, soulful is good. Cheery bad.

Thanks much.
Could've just used Metallica - St. Anger

Something that sounds like the Gorillaz not counting any of Damon's other projects.
