looking for alternative/indie rock bands that are easy to listen to, something good but not overly strange or abnormal (think kings of leon on aha shake heartbreak)
- captain awesome, trying to help his friend to open her mind to less mainstream music.

Try bands like Arctic Monkeys, My Morning Jacket, The Strokes etc.. I'm not really sure how non-mainstream you're for here by using KoL as an example, but if she listens to Top 40 shit like KoL she probably hasn't heard those.

what song do you recommend me?
I like inspiring, idealistic, revolutionary type of music. Kind of like Rage Against the Machine. Something that inspires me to do great things, (like in Man in the Mirror by Michael Jackson), music about having a purpose and doing something for the world!
What do u suggest? |
