I grew out of it too, but Silverstein is pretty good.

I was stuck on those three bands as well. All good groups, just trying so hard to look for something new.

I've been really digging the whole vibe of The Gaslight Anthem if you know who they are. If you guys know any similar bands (besides Springsteen ), I'd be very happy to know.

I think I have only ever heard one Ryan Adams song, and I don't even remember what it was called, it was kinda nice, tuneful, enjoyable... but obviously it didn't move me to love his stuff....

I looked a few of his songs, Im inclined to agree with you. Not bad at all. Pretty good playing and nicely arranged. But it hasn't stood out to me yet.

I've only ever heard 'Gold' but it was a really great album. He's been fairly prolific but I haven't heard anything else and to be honest I haven't even been aware of a few of them being released.

Is Ryan Adams one of those artists with a big catalogue of pleasant but not particularly memorable songs, do you think?

I would guess so. I read an article about him and his new backing band, and it seemed like he had 10 albums or so from what I got out of it.
