Okay all you music fiends, I've been searching for a band with a certain style to no avail, so I'm going to list the genres I'd like in the band and I also have an album that fits almost perfectly (It's my favorite album)

so Genre(s):

-Rock
-Southern (not country per se)
-Minor key
-preferably female lead vocalist
-Slow moving songs are fine, but I definitely wouldn't mind something with a bit of energy.
-I'd prefer, how do I say this, ummm, lyrics that don't involve Jesus or God. I know southern and christianity go hand in hand, but....it sort of takes me out of the music.

Album:

Frustration Plantation - Rasputina

Use the album to get a feel of what I'd like, but don't get too caught up by the lack of instruments, I don't mind more than just cellos, believe me. I hope someone can help, I know that's a hard order to fill, I've looked, haha.

Default Anyone know of any good swing-inspired electronica/dance music?

I love swing music and I love most forms of electronica/dance music.
Thanks for what you guys and gals can find.

PS I've already heard and love Chmbermaid Swing and other songs by Parov Stelar, if those count.
