I've actually had one of their albums for almost two years, but have yet to listen to it. I will now though
Thanks.

Prince. I heard that song on the radio once and thought for damn sure it was Prince.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Could someone please recommend me some music? I don't really have a genre or mood in mind, so feel free to hit me with anything. Artists are fine, but if you have a particular album in mind, that's even better.

There's my last.fm to give you an idea of what I currently like. Some stuff I enjoy isn't represented too well by the charts at the moment (death metal, jazz, etc.), but oh well.

Also, there's my RYM if you prefer. It's probably a bit more of a pain to look through, but gives you a better idea of exactly what I like and dislike, as well as what I already own/want.

Try some Noise rock-Melt Banana, Arab On Radar
Hip Hop- Dalek, Rubber Room
Proggy metal/rock- Karnivool, The Dear Hunter
Alt to Butthole surfers - Jesus lizard, Polvo, Meat Puppets
Radiohead? Try Archive.
Prog- Pure Reason Revolution, Ozric Tentacles.

I hope some of those help.

Thanks man. A few others of those I've heard of and meant to check out (Jesus Lizard, Meat Puppets, Melt Banana), but never gotten around to it. This is a nice reminder.

Also, strangely, I couldn't find Rubber Room on Rate Your Music (I usually use that site and add stuff to my wishlist).

I spelt it slightly wrong:

Architechnology by Rubberoom : Reviews and Ratings - Rate Your Music

The low rating is puzzling. Also try Techno Animal.
