Not weird at all, dude. Two words...CHEAP TRICK. Their first three albums are impeccable. Unbeatable combination of melody, harmony, guitar riffs and hooks! Lyrically, they were pretty funny and sarcastic, particularly on the debut. Totally got unhinged in the 80's, though.

Perhaps something total opposite to the movie and or scenes. Like a classical peice that soetimes gets fast and heavy sounding. Or some kind of slow gothic peice or ambient peice. Just to throw people off and to set the bar outside of the box.Soulswirlingsomewhere is a good choose kind gives you a feeling of sinking and there is no escaping the pain inside you.Like I think it would feel to be inside prison.

Hey guys, I was wondering if there are any other bands out there that have the same similar sound as warpaint. Just started listening to them last week and think they are awesome. the fool and exquisite corpses EP both great albums.

Odd request.
I enjoy trip hop, but I am discouraged by the generally cheerful, almost poppy trip hop I hear. I am looking for more trip hoppy bands that are similar to Massive Attack. Dark, dangerous, brooding music that makes you want to either punch something or violently make out with your significant other. Trip hop that is on the heavier, almost metal side works as well. Or metal that sounds vaguely like trip hop. Whatever. Or anything similar to this. |
