This work by Kate denotes the experience of searching for a new sound, in which she explores rhythms linked to rock and roll.
The result of this work is stimulating, which shows us a new path perfectly compatible with Kate's talent. |

Im glad to see Kate's music getting some much needed attention. I always hear people saying that they love Kate Bush but none of them have her music on any of their playlists. I have her first five albums on my music library iTunes. Better late than never, eh Kate?

This was already a hit back in the 80s, so "never" isn't really appropriate.
Also you should check out some of her later albums. You'd probably like something off Sensual World, perhaps also Aerial and 50 Words for Snow. Edit: I don't care for remixes, but at least maybe they'll generate some royalties for her.

This may be an unpopular opinion but I'm going to say it anyway...
While I love some of her songs, I don't rate her much as a music artist. I evaluate artists by the strength of their albums but, sadly, none of her albums work from beginning to end for me. The closest one was probably The Hounds of Love but most of side two left me nonplussed. I also don't like her once heavy reliance on dinosaur rock and tacky synth sounds. |
