the only time i've heard of people sitting on the actual stage was the VIP section on the last rolling stones tour. side stage usually means the section to the side of the stage as opposed to the front.

in my experience a side stage on it's own is at an event where multiple bands are playing and a band whose name is in smaller font on the marquee is playing there.
SITTING side stage - depending on the venue - would simply mean... sitting on the side of the stage...? Did you try to google the venue at all and check the seating arr.? |
