Albums that are fun to listen to
For me, this is the ultimate:
It's crap compared to NMTB, but it's so entertaining (assuming you skip the McLaren tracks). The Johnny B. Goode breakdown always makes me smile, and the juvenile asides in the title track are great ("Elvis Presley died in 1959, Ian Dury, ****ney fraud"). Runner up: This, and Vol. 3, are two of the very few albums I can listen to over and over again. The songs are cheesy, and Lynne's production is arguably inappropriate, but it feels so good! |

I don't know...even though I think they're great albums and I enjoy listening to them, I don't play Blood On The Tracks, Psychocandy, The Ghost Of Tom Joad, John Prine, etc. when I want to have fun. |
