I think System did a phenomenal job of Black Sabbath's "Snow Blind". They almost make that song there own, then again the best cover songs do imo.

If you know your 70's glam rock, then this is genius:

Celine Dion did a fair job, Ann Wilson still kicks the most ass as far as singing this song.

There's a local band here in Texas called Triprocket who did a cover of Zepplin's "Immigrant song"...I think they did an awesome job myself...

I really like some of the covers Guns And Roses' did, Sympathy For The Devil, Live and Let Die, Knockin' On Heaven's Door in particular (I really hate Raw Power, but I also think no one can take on Iggy, so...)

that is good. and i am a HUGE Sweet fan, so I can appreciate this.

Love the lyrical changes too. if anyone on here has never heard of Sweet then they should give their stuff a listen.

I actually prefer Derek and The Dominos' cover of Little Wing to Jimi Hendrix's. I think the combination of Eric, Duane and Bobby takes it to a a whole new level. Well, actually, I saw Clapton live last month with Doyle Bramhall II and it still beated Jimi's...

(for the record, I love Jimi)
