In Utero is just as accessible if you ask me, it just misses most of their big singles which is why people like it more.
1. on that list is way off though. Of course you wouldn't have seen it if you stick to the charts, but with bands like Sonic Youth, Big Black and Mudhoney about before i would have imagined at some point that a band would take that heavy style and combine it with accessible pop songs.

Well yes, but i still think this 'borrowing' thing is far more exaggerated than it actually is.
The band i hear the most in Nirvana is Big Black, but i'm not sure if everyone holds that view.

A friend of mine swears by Black Flag being the biggest influence on Kurt (vocal style anyway). This Big Black I will have to check out.

I know My War was one of his fave albums.
Sweet: Get Songs About ****ing. The first 5 songs (one a Kraftwerk cover) are perfect. And loud.

Dude you have to be a little more specific. So I don't want to get in an argument here because I know some people are all against downloading music BUT if you want free tunes. Google "bit torrent" and start doing some research. Its easy to start. Here is a link to a thread about trusted uploaders The Trusted Pirate Bay
Mind you these uploaders are only for TPB but it's a start. If anyone wants to know more just P.M me I would be glad to share my tips with you if you couldn't tell by some of my comments I'm a little obsessed with it.
