Songs while losing virginity

What songs/albums were playing when you lost it?

I was 19, living in a house with some college friends. I had Jimi Hendrix "The Ultimate Experience" playing when the deed was finally done. Don't remember the exact song that was on but I do remember the album was almost finished when she left.

what's your story?

mr dave 05-07-2008 09:41 AM

something by aphex twin. the music was better than she was.

Whatsitoosit 05-07-2008 09:42 AM

HA!!! that can fall into the "what's better? music or sex" thread.

The Unfan 05-07-2008 10:45 AM

If I recall correctly it was something by Pearl Jam, but either way it was whatever was on the radio.

Piss Me Off 05-07-2008 11:24 AM

Misfits - Walk Among Us album. Very romantic.

Urban Hat€monger ? 05-07-2008 11:30 AM

Can't remember

And to be totally honest I couldn't have cared less what was playing , if anything.

cardboard adolescent 05-07-2008 11:48 AM

i'm pretty sure the x-files were on...

understandable... which is probably why I don't even remember the song that was playing while it happened. I purposely put Jimi on when she was coming by, just because I figured if I were to lose it that night I would want it to be to Jimi.

British_pharaoh 05-07-2008 11:50 AM

i'd just turned 17 it was in my parents bed during a house party

i'm sure some crappy rap or dance track was playing

Whatsitoosit 05-07-2008 12:10 PM

So was I the only one to set up the soundtrack to my moment?

Piss Me Off 05-07-2008 12:18 PM

The last thing i was worrying about at that point was what was on in the background.

Whatsitoosit 05-07-2008 12:21 PM

So do you think it's fair to say (while losing ones virginity) nothing that is going on in the background would have killed the mood? I gotta think that if somebody was blasting Weird Al through the next room it would have killed my chances a bit.

Molecules 05-07-2008 12:24 PM

could only hear the telly through the floor. so probably Moby or something. *shudder*

Piss Me Off 05-07-2008 12:25 PM

Well yeah probably, i don't think i would have stuck on any Lightning Bolt thats for sure.
That said, the Misfits ain't the most suitable stuff either, but never mind.

pheurton 05-07-2008 12:32 PM

I can't even remember. The moment wasn't set up to be special; but the person was which is all that matters. Plus if anything we made our own sweet sweet music.

yeah, the girl I lost it to wasn't, maybe that's why I'm so happy Jimi was playing.

jackhammer 05-07-2008 01:10 PM

No soundtrack was set up as it was in the woods and it was a LONG time ago.

Molecules 05-07-2008 03:19 PM

i'm getting some charming mental pictures from this thread...

LMAO!!!! getting a BJ while creating sweet music... sounds perfect!

boo boo 05-07-2008 05:05 PM

Punk probably works best because it syncs with all that throbbing.

Hell you could probably do it to just about anything.... except prog.

Anyone who can successfully get it on to Henry Cow deserves a million dollars.

I don't know about you, bu I fuck in 15/8 time...
Actually I like to put on some ambient or shoegaze... Music for Airports really is very erotic

System of the down is probably a hard band to get it on to.

Here's a funny clip.

Farfisa 05-07-2008 10:35 PM

Honestly.....my first time was in a bowling alley...so if balls hitting pins count then there you go.

Is that code for 'it never happened'? ;)

NSW 05-07-2008 11:08 PM

I honestly don't think I've ever gotten it on with music playing in the background...need to try that sometime...

Lost my virginity on a water bed, so I'm sure the only noise was the sloshing of the water and whatever sounds we were making.

Yeh put on 'loveless' by My Bloody Valentine, and 'the idiot' by Iggy Pop, espeacilly 'nightclubbing'.

MBV would be perfect. Most of the songs on 'Isn't Anything' are about ****ing anyway

You lasted the entire album...not bad at all.

I believe we started at the third song and there was two songs to go when we were done.... so roughly 15 songs, this included foreplay as well (which can last a good 5 songs on its own).

Considering it was my first, yeah I was impressed with myself.

The sloshing of water is surely the same sound sometimes ;). squelch.

I didn't last very long. :(

Most of you young fellas don't I'm afraid.

Molecules 05-08-2008 06:50 PM

bloody hell can we not encourage him any more than necessary please? Can't we go back to debating the minutiae of Brazilian post-punk or something?

sleepy jack 05-08-2008 06:56 PM

Barcelonian post-punk is better imo.

PS who are we not trying to encourage?

Molecules 05-08-2008 06:59 PM

dirty old jackhammer is who. Personally I'd sooner take it across the Atlantic and up alot to Iceland. They always had their post-punk hats on

sleepy jack 05-08-2008 07:01 PM

In Greenland they wear full post-punk garbs though. Nothing keeps away the cold like post-punk.

Molecules 05-08-2008 07:11 PM

I would like to see a 'Ramones-shirts-in-Topshop'-style post punk clothing line.
PiL baseball caps, Gang of Four accessories (an 'Entertainment!' sweatband perhaps), Wire sandals, Fall socks, etc

sleepy jack 05-08-2008 07:22 PM

I'd like to see Joy Division boxers.
