ripping program
i'm sort of a secretary and my boss is looking for a program that can rip cds without changing the format they are in while they are on the cd. Any help would be appreciated.
btw this forum's image verification is brutal, i'm not a robot and it took me 4 tries. |

what ever format it was when it was on the cd. If it was mp3 on the cd he wants it to be mp3 when its ripped. If its wma on the cd, he wants it to be wma on the harddrive. He basically doesnt want the ripping program changing anything, and just carbon copying it onto his computer

Well if they're legit CDs then they're made to rip to any format. With burned CDs just like insert it and go to my computer and open the CD Drive and view the files then go into the media player's settings and have them rip to whatever files they are.

If he wants them to retain their original qvality, he has to rip them to FLAC or another lossless format.
