9. Säkert! "Säkert! (2007)"

This album took me awhile to get into. It's Hello Saferide's Anika but singing in her native Swedish tongue which I could tolerate because she had such a fantastic cutesy twee sound but a huge part of the charm of Hello Saferide was lines like "Damn I wish I was a lesbian / So I could fall in love with you." so what do I do when I can no longer hear such shakespearian verses? Open freetranslator? No! I try and enjoy it anyway D: And after playing Introducing...Hello Saferide to death I came to enjoy it anyway. Fun story I know.

Depends if you're into prog & classic rock or not

I'm not and neither is Ethan unless he's really good at hiding it.
And a lot of the greatest indie albums came out in 85-88

8. Radiohead "In Rainbows (2007)"

"Like most Radiohead fans I was completely caught off guard by there being a new Radiohead album but I stayed up really late to download In Rainbows anyway. I remember putting it on repeat as soon as I had it then quickly dropping off to bed and waking up to In Rainbows, which is the greatest way to start off your day. Everytime I listen a new track jumped out on me, though after many listens i've decided Reckoner is my favorite past favorites that stuck for awhile were House of Cards, Videotape and All I Need.

I really don't have much to say on this album even though I love it so much which is odd. My first thoughts upon listening were "In Rainbows has replaced my right hand."" - Ethan a week or so after hearing In Rainbows.

I'm sorry you had to read such vulgar claims as it replaced my right hand. I've since learned that Patrick Wolf will always hold that place.
Favorite Song: Reckoner

I love this idea and will steal it, but change it just a little bit.

7. Eluvium "Copia (2007)"

I could go on about the choruses of strings, brass, organs and the amazing ambiance, and how delicate and amazing the neo-classical arrangements are and be like every other reviewer who reviewed this album going on about the compositional genius but instead I'm going to tell you this is probably one of the most relaxing and beautiful albums I've ever heard. Songs like Radio Ballet are breathtaking.
