I could go on about the choruses of strings, brass, organs and the amazing ambiance, and how delicate and amazing the neo-classical arrangements are and be like every other reviewer who reviewed this album going on about the compositional genius but instead I'm going to tell you this is probably one of the most relaxing and beautiful albums I've ever heard. Songs like Radio Ballet are breathtaking.
Favorite Song: Radio Ballet

This album still does'nt convince me a whole lot. It is an easy, accessible listen yet it borders on the banal. I have heard so much ambient music that it is hard to become excited about new bands.

im going to love seeing you try to put 6 albums better than In Rainbows for 2007.

The Good The Bad and the Queen - listen to this album, i will eat my shirt if it doesn't make your top 10. It is by a band with the same name, a supergroup made up of the bassist from The Clash, the guitarist from The Verve, Singer from Blur/Gorillaz, and the drummer from Mali Music.

It's not on here or even on my top 25. I listened to it and how unremarkable it was really kind of surprised me given the line-up and producer.

6. Best Friends Forever "Romantic Conflict Adventure (2007)"

This album is like delicious pop heroin it really is. Wow that sums up my thoughts on this album, when Catie showed me it I kept playing it and still keep playing it and yeah!
Favorite Song: Eisenhower is the Father

Um...The Good, The Bad and the Queen isn't on my top 10 of 2007. It wouldn't be on my top 25 either. I listened to it and how unremarkable it was surprised me. Because of who was in the line up and because Danger Mouse produced it.

5. The Kidcrash "Jokes (2007)"

Probably one of the best emo albums of the past 10 years and probably one of the most creative emo albums ever. They blend that spazzy math sound in the ways of Off Minor with Slint and some midwest indie influences thrown in. It's amazing.
Favorite Song: Turtlelephant
