I do agree with him on one point
If you can't sell out Glastonbury something is seriously wrong. I don't think that's anything to do with hip hop. Choice of headline artist maybe , but nothing to do with the genre of music they play.

Noel's a douchebag but if I could find information on the British charts than maybe he could be right. I mean over here Jay-Z would sell out a festival but correct me if I'm wrong isn't stuff like The Kooks popular over there? If that's the case than okay yeah I can see what he's saying about guitar rock being a wiser choice but only because of popularity reasons.

The Rolling Stone is an awful awful awful magazine desperately trying to stay hip and relevant by championing some of the most banal crap ever. They're the only magazine I know besides crap like Alternative Press that would give Fall Out Boy critical acclaim.
