Its one of the best albums ever if you ask me. The amount of ambition and range in it is staggering for a band of that time, and there isn't one below-great track.

It is a great album but I don't think it's the best album of the punk era. Pink Flag is better imo by a walk.

London Calling is amazing. Great jazzy stuff on that album, along with hard rock, and of course, punk rock.

I don't like post debut Clash much. Seems like every album had a ton of filler. I like Rudie Can't Fail, Spanish Bombs, Train In Vain, Lost In The Supermarket and Revolution Rock.
