What 3 just out of curiosity? Tin Machine don't count! Tonight got a lot of negativity but except for two tracks, I love that album!

I think you're just splitting hairs. I define a bad band by bands who make bad records. As I would consider approx 85% of Kiss's output is bad then I think yes it's perfectly acceptable to call them a bad band.
Should they have stopped? well just after they made those 6 albums (From 77 onwards) they had their most mainstream popularity , so someone liked the records they put out after , so why would they stop?
