Hmm, this is kind of odd. Generally when a band makes something I like I start to think of them as being "good". Eh, I got a couple. The first demo from Andras is pretty neat "epic" styled black metal, not done in the ridiculous viking style so many favore these days but more like a black metal manowar!! haha! After that they make a sharp turn away from quality and towards silly. Same thing for Gloomy Grim, but in a different style. Their first two demos are way over the top, slightly demented, and highly misanthropic semi-metalized versions of never made horror movie soundtrack collages, but afterwards they turn into the same thing but without the metal. I'm having a bit of struggle thinking of better examples. there are lots of bands that maybe made some good records and later turned to garbage, but I think you're asking more for things which you'd consider like a "fluke" or something to that effect. I can think of lots more songs with that going on than full albums. Lots of old crappy synthpop bands have one neato song you love and the rest of their musical career is a waste. "A Forest" by The Cure is the one that comes first to mind, but their's lots of them.

Now you really don't make any sense.
I take it that was just a bad attempt at humor? If so I'm sorry for freaking out but you sure as hell didn't make it obvious. Seemed like you were just being an asshole. |
