Fun fact! They created that sound by spraying deodorant into the mic.
I don't care if it says that in the Wiki's, i like fun facts.

Not the ones you mentioned.
1.those were recorded in the 70's
2.the production was innovating producer Martin Hannet is often credited with creating Joy Division's sound
3.If you can't see the similarites to interpol then well you're deaf or just don't know what you're talking about.

Well if you don't account for their innovation and emotion in their music, then yes, you can say that. I don't see how one can deny that they were original because they were the start of nu-metal. Faith No More only influenced it a bit.

@Crowquill
You better watch out. You seem like the kind of person who could easily be trolled. If that guy was a troll I would say he made out pretty good. I lol'd reading the whole thread.

yeah but stating that they influenced Oasis is hardly the best praise you could lavish upon a band.

Considering all the other bands they influenced i'd say Oasis were one of the better ones to be fair.

Well keep listening to them until you can. It is totally worth it in the end.

True, it took a while with me apart from a few songs (Transmission, Atmosphere, the usual) but it sunk in after a while.

I've gotta go with Limp Bizkit here. Fred Durst is a douche (see Artist That You Would Most Like To Hit In The Face With A Sock Full Of Rusty Quarters thread). My roommate back in the day was totally in love with these guys, and I really can't stand them. Their cover of "Behind Blue Eyes" sucked, and their cover of "Sanitarium" blew. I didn't know it was possible to suck and blow at the same time, but they pull it off.
