apart from the odd song I also find OK Computer hard to listen to these days. I suppose because I've overplayed it so much.

Less enjoyable when you know every note, melody and lyric isn't it?
I can still appreciate OK Computer as a good album, but it's doesn't hold as much emotional value anymore.

i'm currently addicted to live performances of talk show host

I thought In Rainbows was excellent, but more mellow than usual. I tried to get an "electronic music" fan interested, but no go. OK computer is the best, in my opinion. I heard that amnesiac is the b sides to OK Computer, anyone else hear that?

no. im pretty sure some of it was from when they did kid a. or they may have planned on recording a follow up to kid a all along or something like that.

my understanding is that the songs of both Kid A and Amnesiac were written at the same time but radiohead felt that the songs on Amnesiac didn't fit the "idea" of Kid A so it came out a year later....

or something like that

sweet_nothing 09-19-2008 11:51 PM

Kid A and Amnesiac were recorded at the same time. I dont think there is much to it other than that.

gad, amnesiac is so damn good, im having a real sh*t of a time putting their albums in order.
