Yeah, I own The Bends and it's like more of just a chill c.d.
Surprising considering Pablo Honey.
The Bends has "Just" on it.

If I had to buy another Radiohead c.d. I'd buy OK Computer because I don't want to hear the techno influences on Kid A.

I wouldn't buy Pablo Honey because I checked it out and the only good song on there is "Creep".

I wouldn't want Hail to the Thief because although it'd probably sound good, Radiohead's been together way too long and it's started to all blend together.
However, I did like the song "Idioteque" I think that was on HTTT.

For me, it's between HTTT and OKC.

And I like Yorke's voice, it's chill.

the bends..chill? i think its the rockiest album they've done. ok computer is a lot more ambient and softer then the bends. and i cannot believe you wouldnt buy an album because the bands ben together too long. HTTT is one of their best....you say that yourself- yet you wouldnt buy it.....

I think the Idea of Kid A being a "techno influenced" album is a bit overblown. Its a very "electronic" album, but I don't think there's anything on it that could be even construed as being techno.

Well I haven't heard any albums other than a couple songs from HTTT and Kid A, so I wouldn't know what to compare The Bends to, that's why I assumed more of their stuff was louder and faster.

And yes, I think that HTTT might be really great but I don't want to buy that because of the great reviews OK Computer got.

I was saying that if I could only buy one c.d. I would buy OK Computer.
But, if I could buy two then I would definitely buy HTTT.

From the songs I heard on HTTT though, it sounds like a lot of their other stuff, and if it broke down to it, I would want to listen to their earlier stuff, not older, to get a better feel for them first.

Ahhh, I heard it on the television lol, I thought it was from their new one.
Yeah, the only songs I've heard from HTTT then are "2+2=5" and "Where I End and You Begin"

Kid A is not techno. true its the most progressive, experimental thing radiohead have ever done but as someone pointed out- it focuses heavily on electronics and studio effects. and i think personally its a very good album. though amnesiac is far better.

I like every Radiohead album a lot, except Pablo Honey. Pablo Honey just didn't have much on it worth listening to except "Creep."
