Yeah, I'll admit, he didn't really know what he was doing. His mixing sucked. Ignore the video and the crowds though - Boiler Room sets usually feature a group of people who are not really into dancing.
To me, I thought it was really cool that Thom would go out of his comfort zone and do something like this. Despite his lack of mixing ability, his song selection was on point, and I think that's at least 75% of what it takes to be a good DJ. I won't lie, I'd pay good money to see Yorke do a full 60 hour DJ set. |
