OK Computer really isn't as great as everyone says, but lots of other Radiohead albums do live up to their hype, or in some cases (hail to the thief), surpass it.

"OK Computer" is the album where Radiohead started experimenting with new kinds of sound, not just synths, but different kinds of guitar distortion too. "Subterranean Homesick Alien" demonstrates this pretty well; you have Johnny Greenwood's guitar riff given some really unusual distortion and even some ambience.

Why am I writing this? I don't even like Radiohead (apart from "Just", which is one of the top ten best songs of all time)

Ok Computer bores me to hell and back, except for Electioneering and Fitter Happier (if that counts as a "song")

I never said I liked the album. I was explaining it's significance. And yes, it is pretty boring.

Just Heard mxyomatosis again for the first time in over 3 years now.

I think that song is amazing

Actually..I'm starting to regret not giving Hail to the theif a chance like I did the other albums. It's actualy slowly becoming one of my favorites.Probably tied with In Rainbows as my 2nd favorite album.

also Okcomputer is my least favorite album.

I thought the same about "Hail To The Thief". The riff to "2+2=5" really annoyed me, but then I bought some better headphones I dicovered a whole new layer of sound beneath it (I still don't like it though!). "In Rainbows" seemed to replace guitars with clicking and sucking noises ("15 Step" for example). The only bit of the album I really liked was the a capella bit in "The Reckoner", which was very good. I'd say that "The Bends" was still the greatest ever Radiohead, despite the naff album art.

I think Thief is a bit overlong, and inconsistent. Some of their best work is on it though, no doubt.

I don't think it really represents what Radiohead are capable of. They just seemed a bit lazy in some places there, to be honest.
