Dear James,

I believe there is quite a large gap between "miles" and "lightyears".

Sincerely, Eric

I love that track. It's so damn atmospheric and funky. Not to mention during the latter half of the song starts to adopt a Dixieland feel that then evolves into avant-garde jazz. It was actually this song that got me to revisit their music and give them a second chance (so fucking glad I did).

"Paranoid Android" also gets a special mention for it's peculiar lyrics and eclectic composition.

We were talking about Radiohead pure Rock songs earlier, but they definitely aren't the best (at least to me). I would also go for Pyramid Song or Idioteque (probably the latter more so), or even Life in a Glass House. But I think Amnesiac has all great songs. Bloom's pretty spectacular too.

Oh yeah, There There is off the chain.

Best pure rock song, I would agree with 2+2=5. Killer.

Huh. It's still "Just" for me. I've not encountered a song with such a creepy demeanor in their entire discography.

And mentioning the name of a different song won't make me think otherwise!

Pyramid Song (somewhat) or definitely We Suck Young Blood have a pretty creepy atmosphere.

Airbag is great btw.

*proceeds to mention several other songs*

Seriously though, Just would be my second pick. Immensely powerful song.
2+2=5 is probably the song that captures their transition from their first 3 album to their newer material the best.
