wasn't the in rainbows release more sudden than this? didn't they just make a post on their site saying in rainbows is out, click here?

I just saw a kid outside my dorm on a laptop looking at the artwork.

I'm not really sure why they aren't releasing it via FLAC(instead of WAV). I suppose their reasoning is higher compatibility.

Also, why would anyone buy the WAV version of the newspaper version for $5 more? They can just rip the CD(or vinyl) themselves when they get the physical copy.

I added the prices to my previous post about the releases.

that's fitting. somewhere I read that Greenwood(I think) said it's unlike anything they've done before.
