Depends on the price. It has alot of good tracks, some of which are better than the stuff on the first disc. Last Flowers is a touching piano ballad, Bangers & Mash has Thom on drums and shows their Can influence, Up On the Ladder which is probably one of my favorite radiohead songs and is one they had been working on since Kid A and it definitely has that sound with the drum machine, snyths, and looping guitar and Down Is the New Up is somewhat of a sensual Piano number. I could just send you it of you want, unless you wanna own a hardcopy.

I'm liking "These Are My Twisted Words", much more than Harry Patch. I like the long instrumental intro.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I thought "These Are My Twisted Words" sounded kinda cool, in a drawn out instrumental kinda way... actually I wouldn't mind it if the band focused more on its instrumental side in future albums.... the last couple have beenquite lyrically driven in places, and it would actually be great to see them branch out, build a long track with alot of instrumental sections, and then add lyrics where its appropriate / effective...

Plus I really like the darker tone of These Are My Twisted Words... I didn't find it disappointing at all.

That's a completley reasonable opinion. I thought the same until I got HTTT. But their other post-OKC albums just...aren't for me.

Kid A and Amnesiac were an acquired taste, for sure... but man, once I cracked the shell of those two albums, they were nothing but absolutely amazing musical perfection as far as I'm concerned... strange as they are, they are so rich in ideas and experimentation and it really finds the band branching out into new territory, which is always exciting for me... they're absolute classics to my ears...

But it was a departure to the more conventional structures of their previous works, so I can see how some fans became alienated...

It's finally happened... I love Kid A more than The Bends.

Its easy to do once you let Kid A soak in! Not to say The Bends is bad, but its a much more straightforward "rock" album, more conventional, but not a terrible album because of it..... its just that by Kid A they'd mastered all that and more... Kid A, in my opinion just has so much more sophistication, so many more levels, layers and themes... its one amazing recorded experience, IMO...
