So I now have a choice between Amnesiac or the Bends...I don't think I will get Pablo or HTTT. Which is better iyo?

The Bends is my favorite RH album. Amnesiac is my least favorite.

Thats like asking me which of my kids I love more than the others.... I can't choose..... get 'em all....

But for the sake of getting the most interesting album first, go with Amnesiac, then get The Bends when you feel like some downbeat depressing alt - rock....

The Bends isn't exactly like a day at the carnival though....I mean, its overall mood may not be as down as OK Computer, but Fake Plastic Trees, Bulletproof (I wish I Was) Street Spirit, High and Dry...not exactly party tunes...

But I agree that OK Computer is more depressing... it just wasn't brought up in this part of the conversation...

The Bends is not upbeat at all if you actually pay attention to what Thom saying. In a lyrical sense it's more depressing than OK Computer.

Will a mod, for the love of all things respectable, change the title of this thread to The self congratulatory radiohead thread before I gouge my eyes out with a grapefruit spoon.
