His basslines are there, but you really have to pay close attention. When you hear them, you'll realise just how perfect they are. Optimistic and Dollars and Cents for example.
You love the basslines but you hate Where I End and You Begin?

I don't hate it, I just don't care for it, the bassline is the only thing I like about it. It never goes anywhere and it's just overly repetitive. The whole "I will eat you alive" part just annoys me.

But yeah, Colin is very underrated.

Bones, Airbag, Paranoid Android, Exit Music, Optimistic, I Might Be Wrong, Dollars and Cents, Go to Sleep, There There, 15 Step, Nude, Jigsaw Falling into Place, Up on the Ladder, Bangers and Mash.

There's some very nice bass work in those songs.

You're insane. Exit Music hits a bigger and more emotional climax than any song in Radiohead's discography.

Yeah I love Exit Music a lot, it's a favorite of mine without question. Though I love Meldau's version too, he's incredible.

Agreed! I don't get how you couldn't like Exit Music. When I first heard it I was left speechless.

Exit Music is a pretty tight song. Not too big on Let Down though. Couldn't tell you why.

HTTT was the 1st album by Radiohead, where Thom had finally embraced his celebrity, and felt comfortable being the lead singer of one of the biggest band's on the planet.

I heard that in some interview, and thought, 'Ah cool, I'll go pick that up,' I'm with Shiseido, it's definitely hard to get into.
