I actually think Kid A is one of my favorite albums ever recorded.

Got about the whole discography (14 albums - including EP's. better?) today from a friend, giving some of it a listen. It is going to take a while. Not to sure what to think so far, although I did enjoy the first part of "Pablo Honey."

Same here, I can and do listen through it A LOT and still find something new to love.

They have 7 "secret" albums, you have to blow Thom Yorke to get them though.

Oh yeah we know you did.

Anyway, I've never understood how Kid A could be perceived as boring. I thought it wasn't much at first, but upon a somewhat closer inspection (one to three more listens) I found it to be pretty win.

the only way i could see this scenario happening is if you listen to it while preoccupied with something else. i tend to do this while i am on my computer a fair amount. it kept me from getting spiderland for a while.

That prevents me from enjoying an album fully a lot of the time, I think that's why I couldn't get into Kid A at first. It's best if you get the full grasp though.
