It's from a deformity type deal he had when he was born. His eye was actually sealed shut (kind like my girlfriend's-- never mind), and they had to surgically open it. It's been lazy his whole life. Poor artsy fella.

Anyway, the Bends is a tight album, even if they're not very experimental on it, except on Planet Telex, which I would say is the best track from the album. Powerful opener too. I also like Black Star (for the main riff/melody type thing in the opening), Street Spirit, High and Dry, and others.

Need to whip that bad boy out again. And no, she did not say that.

The lyrics on OK Computer are actually important. All give off fumes of paranoia, social discomfort, and even insanity. I’ve always thought of OK Computer as the modern Darkside of the Moon which dealed with the same issues to an extent, and listen to Lucky and tell me that doesn’t sound like Floyd.
Well Ok Computer and The Bends are different, for that was the period when Yorke still annunciated.
