I have a feeling Jonny will pull in that best score because he supposedly got robbed in other award shows. I don't know if the media will be able to get over it's Coldplay addiction to give any of the big ones to Radiohead, but I see them winning at least one.

Meh, awards shcmawards, who really cares if Radiohead don't win grammys! We all know their music is pretty darn cutting edge and hard to beat - what the hell does a so called panel of "experts" know...
... More like a panel of people with biased musical tastes who need to fulfil some sort of obligation to mass appeal and somewhere in there "quality" has to be configured into the equation... betcha there are a million greater albums than the ones who win awards this year as for any other year...

Hi hi MB! I'm back from hiatus and I've been listening to a lot of Radiohead lately, I can't believe I used to dislike them.
I've now heard every album except Pablo Honey and Hail to the Thief, and I can safely say they've become one of my favorite modern bands. Kid A is probably my current favorite album, but I really like Amnesiac too, it's really underrated in my opinion. |

I guess you're right about being recognized for your work. I guess it would give an artist a good feeling...
I'm thinking though, that no feeling would beat the one that an artist / musician would get standing in front of an audience singing YHOUR song, really feeling something in it, maybe even displaying some sort of real and tangible emotional response... that would be my biggest honor and privilege if I was musician, I think...

I think all musicians would enjoy a grammy.... It's not like they're making music that they DON'T want people to hear. You can argue selling out and what not, but if an artist is putting their all into their music and doing it for the right reasons then hell yeah they deserve it and I'm sure any such artist would be grateful.
