I listened to In Rainbows

I really enjoyed it. It was a lot easier on the ears than what I had heard previously, and while the singer's voice took a while to get used to, I found that by the third track the music just started to click.

I'm glad I gave this band a second chance, this was a very good album.

Even in front of the BENDS?!

Wowzers, you might be the first person I've ever spoke to that said that.

That's cool though.

Half of The Bends is class. The other is generic tripe IMO.

See I would totally put the Bends up there as one of the highest, if not at the top.

Maybe, it's because I was at the age when it came out that I started becoming "musically aware". Maybe it's just a little more sentimental to me.

That may very well be. I've only been listening to Radiohead for like 2 1/2 years so I never really "lived" through any of the albums except for In Rainbows (Which I adore, btw).

Ah yes, that would make a lot of sense.

It really is a great album, and, in the mid-90's, there wasn't really anything like it.
And then OK came out, and that blew my mind just as much.

I always want to say IR is my favourite, because there isn't a track on there that I don't like, but I just can't bring myself to do it.

I do think it has a slightly different vibe than any other album they've put out, which I like, but, I just can't bring myself to call it my new favourite.

Yeah I want to say I like it better than OKC but at the same time I don't. I don't think I could ever put it in front of Kid A though.
